Published: CHIPS policy brief No1
The CHIPS project has published its first policy brief, titled "Distributional effects and acceptability of carbon taxes in the European Union". Based on the new study by Feindt et al. (2021), it provides insights on the cost burden for individual private households related to carbon pricing, and suggest compensation transfers to offset disproportionate burdens for poorer households in the European Union.
