Kick-off Meeting
The CHIPS consortium held its kickoff meeting on October 8-9 2019 at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research.The meeting aimed at the creation of a shared understanding of the project. It discussed its general objective (the integration of distributional effects of climate change impacts and climate policies into integrated assessment) and expected benefits (to support policy design, assess alignment with SDGs, and to better measure the impacts avoided by climate action). With this in mind, the consortium went through the Research Plan to better define next steps for action.
